Fennel pork roast is great in the summer in the air fryer. This method keeps your kitchen cool while chilis spice up the rub.
When it comes to summer cooking, the air fryer is a kitchen hero. It keeps the heat down, cooks quickly, and delivers perfectly crispy results. Today, we’re bringing out the best in pork roast with a flavorful rub of fennel seed, garlic, and chili flakes. Paired with the BtsLink Wireless Probe Thermometer, you’ll have a tender roast without breaking a sweat or the bank.
The Star of the Show: Fennel Seed
Fennel seed is the secret ingredient that takes this pork roast to the next level. It has a sweet, slightly licorice-like flavor that pairs beautifully with pork. Garlic, the subtle heat of chili flakes, and fennel seed create a well-rounded rub that enhances the meat’s natural flavors. As the pork roasts, the fennel seeds release their aromatic oils, infusing the meat with a sophisticated flavor.
Perfect Cooking with the *BtcLink Wireless Probe Thermometer
Achieving the ideal internal temperature is crucial for a juicy pork roast, and the *BtcLink Wireless Probe Thermometer makes this task effortless. This wireless thermometer connects to your phone via Bluetooth, allowing you to monitor the temperature in real-time. Simply insert the probe into the thickest part of the pork before placing it in the air fryer, and set your desired target temperature in the app. For pork, an internal temperature of 136°F ensures a perfectly cooked, moist roast. The app will alert you when your roast reaches the target temperature so you can focus on preparing the rest of your meal without worrying about overcooking.
I have a Square Dot probe thermometer that I love and highly recommend. However, it has a long wire that connects it to the unit, so I cannot close the air fryer’s door. I was very pleased that this thermometer did a good job. You can read my full BtcLink review.
Why the Air Fryer is Perfect for Summer
Using an air fryer in the summer is a game-changer. It cooks food quickly without heating up your kitchen. It is ideal for days you’d rather not turn the oven on. The air fryer’s rapid hot air circulation ensures the pork roast develops a deliciously crispy exterior while staying juicy. Plus, the compact size of the air fryer means less energy consumption, which is always a win.
This fennel pork roast is not only packed with flavor but also easy to prepare, thanks to the convenience of the air fryer and the precision of the BtcLink Wireless Probe Thermometer. It’s a perfect addition to your summer recipe rotation.
Other Methods to Prepare the Roast
