We’ve all been there. You open the linen closet, smush the things back, close it, hope it doesn’t open, move away, and boom, whatever you just tried to put in there spits out. I have many blankets we use in the winter that take up a lot of space. I’ve been looking for a solution to this for a while. When I saw these bags, I knew they were the answer. After putting blankets in just two of the bags and stacking them on one shelf, I have a completely empty shelf. Yeah!
How to Use TAILI Vacuum Bags
The directions were so easy that I left them in another room and went with the obvious. Of course, you want to fold the items to be as flat as possible and put the first item all the way in the back corner. Layer the items so your finished bag will be as flat as possible.
Press the bag closed. Then, use the tool that comes with the bags to ensure they are fully closed. The valve on the bag is marked Opened and Closed. Make sure the valve is open.
Any standard vacuum with a hose will work. I used a smaller hand-held vacuum when I did this. If there is a hole where you would put an attachment, it will work. These bags will not work with upright vacuums without an attachment hose, and they will not work with robotic vacuums unless they have an attachment hose.
Turn the vacuum on and watch the magic happen as the vacuum sucks out the excess air and flattens the items within the bag. Turn the vacuum off when all the air is removed and put the valve in the closed position. Then, you can put the sealed bag in your linen closet, under a bed, or wherever you wish.

I really like them.
They’re very nice.
They come four to a pack.
And I already have one of the packs open
and here is my storage bag.
And I have a few things that I’m going to
stick in there.
We’re going to start with this blanket.
We’re going to open up the storage bag.
I’ll show you what this does in a minute.
Just like any time that you’re using any
kind of vacuum bag.
We want to try to pack it in as much as
possible.
So we’re putting this all the way over to
the edge.
Like that.
Okay.
And put the next thing in.
These happen to be… Sheets
that I don’t use very often.
So they’re going in here.
There we go.

There’s another one. And
the black one. And
another one. And another
one more. And we
have room for one more.
Here we go. Actually, we probably
have room for more, but I’m sticking
these in here because these
are the ones I don’t use frequently.
Okay.
You can see how stuffed that
is and how tall that is.
And this is when you want to put something
like this into your linen closet.
It takes up a lot of space –
which we don’t have.
So next thing we do…

is a tool to help close the gap.
So we take the tool like this.
And aline this like this.
And run this.
Like that.

And start from this side, too,
if you want.
Make a press down a little bit.
Everybody fits.
You don’t want to get anybody stuck in the
crack.

And here comes the magic.

This is just a regular vacuum cleaner.
Okay.
Here comes the fun part.
I want you to notice this.
This is the valve.
Open the valve.
Have to have the valve open in order to
the vacuum cleaner to work.
So the valve is open.
And you take your vacuum cleaner and put
the business end right over the valve.
Turn your vacuum cleaner on.
There’s going to be noise.
And see?
Turn your vacuum cleaner off.
And put this into the closed position.
Now.
The difference.
This is amazing.
This is going to go into my linen closet
now where I will have a lot more room.
I still have a whole
bunch that I need to do.
