Patdrea Ruffle Tablecloth Full Review
I love this tablecloth. It makes me feel like I’m in a farmhouse kitchen in France, although the tablecloth itself is made in China. I was surprised when I opened the package for this tablecloth. It’s a lovely, thick fabric that will last a very long time. The color is mustard yellow, not the bright yellow shown in the promo picture.
I have vintage Vernonware Organdie dishes in a yellow and brown plain pattern. It was difficult finding the right color to go with them. Brown makes them look drab, and white made them look dirty. Black went well, but that’s not a color I want to use all the time for my table, especially during the day. As I said, the yellow color of the cloth is more of a mustard color than a lemon color. That goes perfectly with my Orangie dinnerware. I also have some lovely thick *American Atelier Vintage Purple Wine Glasses to go with my dishes. They also go perfectly with this tablecloth. I am so looking forward to using this tablecloth for Spring holiday meals.
The ruffle is a muted white-gray color. The tablecloths come in various colors: yellow like mine, green, navy, red, and orange. Yes, I know, nothing rhymes with orange! If you like a vintage, country look, these tablecloths are the ones to get.
Although the manufacturer says to wash this by hand, it is quite large. Washing it on the gentle cycle in cold water and then letting it line dry will keep it beautiful for a very long time.
