Summer is officially here – unofficially, it started the moment someone fired up a grill on Memorial Day weekend, but we are being generous about the calendar.
June is a big month. Graduation season is in full swing, so if you have a new graduate at your table, congratulations! They are officially someone else’s problem now. Juneteenth falls on June 19th, a day worth celebrating with great food and great company. And this year, Father’s Day and the Summer Solstice share the same Sunday, June 21st, the longest day of the year, which gives Dad plenty of time to pretend he knows what he is doing at the grill.
Speaking of keeping cool, this month we are doing exactly that; keeping the kitchen cool while the temperatures outside do whatever they want. The air fryer and the sous vide cooker are your best friends this summer, and we are going to prove it.
