Morgles Butter Dish Review
Good afternoon and welcome to The Good
Plate’s kitchen.
Today we’re talking about a butter dish.
Yeah, I know.
A butter dish.
Well, let’s… let’s see.
What do we got here?
I got this because I’d like to keep butter
on the counter.
And… as we all know,
there’s nothing worse
than trying to put butter
on bread or something.
And it just rips into the bread because
it’s too cold.
And we don’t like that.
That’s not a good thing.
Okay, so here this is… a… Morgles.
I’m probably not pronouncing that right,
but you get the idea.
Okay, here we go.
This is very nice.
And… see?
Go like this and to open it
you go like that.
So it seals really well.
That’s nice.
What I found really interesting about
this… look at this.
I don’t know if you can see this.
But there’s actually markings here.
So you can tell where the tablespoon is.
And it’s got a little slot
so you can see exactly
how much it is if you
were going to do that.
And it closes easily.
Let’s see anything else in here.
Oh my goodness.
I use our manual for a butter dish.
Okay, well let’s see. It says to store
the butter, how to store the butter
It says to keep it away from
direct sunlight and extreme
temperature changes and
do not use the product in the
microwave and
to avoid
boiling it in water above
167 degrees Fahrenheit.
So, there we go.
I don’t particularly care for butter in
sticks.
I don’t like having to
deal with paper so I get
the large Dairy Gold
butter and I have some here.
I’m going to put it right there.
There we go.
Cover it up.
And it’s ready to go.
And see I can lift it up.
That’s really good.
And the other thing
that’s great about this is I
can see exactly how
much butter I have in here.
So it’s not a matter of… I wonder
if I need to put butter in here.
No.
I already know I have butter here.
So this is great.
This is wonderful for putting on the
table.
You can put it on your countertop.
Put it in your refrigerator.
But I’m going to keep
mine on the countertop
because I like to
cook with butter.
All right.
And we’ll see you next time on
The Good Plate. Thanks for watching.
