Almost Eggless Eggnog

If you are not a fan of raw egg, this is the one for you - and it's a LOT easier than traditional

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cream
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Nutmeg, freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, for dusting
  • 1 cup crushed ice, or ice cubes

Instructions

  • Mise en place.

  • If you are using a Margaritaville blender, put the ice in the top of the blender, then put the carafe in the bottom. Shave the ice first then mix it in with the liquid in the carafe.

  • If you are using a regular blender, put all the ingredients in the blender and blend it for 10 to 20 seconds. Add ice when the mixture is done.

  • Serve in small glasses, with brandy or other alcohol for the adults. Dust the top with ground cinnamon.

Notes

If you don't want any egg at all, you can completely omit it. It will still be thick enough because of the cream.  Enjoy!
