It's easy! Phyllo dough is a thin, gossamer dough that you can buy in your grocer's freezer.  Use a damp dish towel to keep the dough from drying out.

There is a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg and cheddar cheese between each buttered layer. Use a powdered cinnamon shaker to dust the layers.

Powdered Sugar Duster

Using a duster like this one is essential when dusting phyllo so you don't get too much spice on it.

The apples are peeled and sliced using an apple peeler.  Then they are mixed with cinnamon, raisins and butter before being put on the dough.

Finished!

The Pi symbol was cut out of extra sheets of phyllo, buttered, then black sesame seeds were placed on top.  It's π Day!
