Combine the ingredients for the coating in one of the breading trays. Put milk in another breading tray.
Cut the chicken into strips about an inch wide.
Dip each piece of chicken in milk, then in the coating. Place on the air fryer rack and set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Make the sauce by placing garlic in a food processor and adding mayonnaise, tomato paste, and red pepper sauce. Process to a smooth sauce and place in a serving dish.
Put the breaded chicken strips in the air fryer and set it to 380 °F (193 °C) for 10 minutes. The chicken is done when it registers 165 °F (74 °C) on an instant-read thermometer. If the chicken has not reached that temperature, continue cooking in 5-minute increments until the chicken is done. If you have to cook the chicken in batches, keep it warm in a 200 °F (93 °C) oven until all the pieces are cooked.
Plate the chicken and serve it with the sauce. Enjoy!
