Instructions
Gather ingredients
Slice the potatoes into relatively even pieces. You can start by cutting the potato in half then cutting along the sides.
Put the potatoes into a large bowl.
Chop the garlic in the
food chopper
until it is quite small.
Add the garlic to the potatoes and generously grind black pepper over them.
Add the olive oil and toss so every piece of potato gets covered.
Put the potatoes on a parchment paper lined half sheet pan.
Put the potatoes in the oven and heat the oven to

them for 30 minutes. Check them for doneness - they should be almost tender.
Turn the heat up to

Notes
One large baking potato should be enough for each person. If you can only find small potatoes, use two potatoes per person.
